The NPPL is proud to give 2012 tournament teams a choice by offering both the Traditional 7 man Capture the Flag format and the Millennium Series format which includes Race to 5, Race to 4 and Race to 2. The following 8 divisions will be offered by NPPL for the 2012 season.

The NPPL Professional and Semi Pro 7 Man Divisions:

Dear Industry Members, Teams, Players and Supporters,

In June of this year, the PSP management and the NPPL management met in Las Vegas for a meeting to construct the framework for a merged or newly combined entity to host one paintball tournament event series for 2012 and beyond. Both the PSP and the NPPL supported by the majority of the industry felt that given the past erosion of our industry and the current economic uncertainty, that one league hosting a series of events would be the best thing for everyone involved. After additional meetings in New Jersey, Orlando and Las Vegas combined with countless phone conferences and email correspondence, we were unable to come to an agreement that satisfied both parties. Given the time that is left in the calendar year and the quickly approaching 2012 tournament season, we have exhausted the time to negotiate further.

The PSP & NPPL staff fully recognizes the benefits of a combined league for 2012 and with the most genuine of intentions, deployed all assets and made every effort to make one league a reality for the paintball community. We believe the PSP & NPPL organizations pursued the negotiations with the same intentions and shared our desire to be successful. The PSP & NPPL both recognize the termination of negotiations as a temporary setback but remain committed and optimistic to merging for one league in the future. We want to thank the staff of both the PSP & NPPL and sincerely appreciate the efforts they made to consummate a combined entity.

Back in September the group White Hat LLC was formed by a group looking to acquire the assets of Smart Parts. White Hat LLC is reportedly composed of members from Team Master Blasters, an old school paintball / woodsball team that has recently resurfaced to compete in the Ultimate Woodsball League.

A few years back Chris Cole was said to be involved with a gun from First Endeavor Paintball known as the FEP Quest. The Quest was shot by pro paintball team Docs Raiders in 2007. Pro Players were said to have encountered difficulties with the markers at the time and eventually went to another sponsor. FEP continued to fine tune the marker for awhile but ultimately closed their doors to the public. Reports have leaked out during last 3 years through our ProPaintball SmackBox that the Quest was going to be redesigned and revived. ProPaintball insiders speculate that this Zodiak paintball gun is the newest iteration of the Quest.

I have learned that Angel Sports is ceasing operations. I don�t know all the details, not sure it really matters. They will make announcements concerning this shortly. I have been assured by the UK office that parts will be available to service the markers. The details of this arrangement should become clear in the near future, and should be announced by the UK office this week. For the near future, both myself and Bob at Fix My Angel (www.fixmyangel.com) have parts in stock in the US for your customers.

I have some items in stock personally, and will be willing to honor your dealer pricing (or give you an even better deal) where I can on those items. The 2011 NPPL Chicago Open Registration Closes in Two Days!!!!

The NPPL Chicago Open Registration hosted at CPX Sports closes Thursday night at 11:59 pm PST. Be sure to register and pay for your team as you do not want to miss out on all the action! Come and watch the Pros play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and see who will win the Chicago Open Cup.

You don't want to miss out on the Miss NPPL Bikini Contest being held Saturday night, May 21^st, at CPX Sports. Winner will receive $1000 cash, a trip to NPPL's DC Challenge and the NPPL World Paintball Championship held in Las Vegas, NV. *Must be 18 or older.

Developmental Paintball League 2011 Field Layout

Field Layout UPDATE

Event #1 April 30-May 1

After overwhelming requests by several D2 and D3 teams to change the Event #1 field layout from the NPPL HB layout to the NPPL Chicago layout, we have decided to do so. This will also allow D2 and D3 teams the opportunity to play the Chicago layout prior to NPPL Chicago.

D4 and Young Guns will still play the NPPL HB Layout. (pictured below)

The Chicago layout will be available for teams to practice on this weekend, April 23 & 24 at Camp Pendleton Tournament Park.
