50 Caliber paintballs are less expensive than the standard 68 cal paintballs and come in a variety of different quantities. 50 cal paintballs are available in case quantities of anywhere between 500 and 8000 rounds per case.
Since 50 caliber paintballs use about 1/3 of the materials of a 68 cal ball, you can expect all of the manufacturers of 50 caliber paintballs to use the best quality ingredients. Also, since the fill of the 50 caliber paintballs are a lot less they will have to have a very thick and bright fill in order to easily mark an opponent. 50 caliber paintballs will be priced at roughly $26.95 for a 2000 round case of basic paint. The Premier 50 Caliber paintballs are expected to sell for about $49.95 per case of 2000.
The four main and current manufacturers of 50 caliber paintballs are:
- RPS/Evil 50 Caliber Paintballs
- Kingman/Spyder 50 Caliber Paintballs
- GI Milsim 50 Caliber Paintballs
- Valken 50 Caliber Paintballs
