Once again the industry's premiere paintball manufacturers have stepped up to show their continued support for the CFOA, its players and teams. The CFOA, with the support of Procaps and Kee Action Sports, has strived throughout the off-season to find a way to reduce the cost of competition that all teams face. After much deliberation, the CFOA is pleased to present its own stimulus plan for the 2010 season. This plan accomplishes the ultimate goal of reducing the cost of competition for players and teams.
The CFOA's goal for 2010 was to reduce the cost per player to play an event. Feedback from the post-season survey showed that a team's cost in paint was an uncontrollable variable and made it difficult to budget the cost per event for their players. Teams now have the ultimate control over the cost per player by increasing or decreasing the size of their team roster.
The CFOA understands that some teams may have sponsorships connected to their paint consumption and has taken this factor into consideration. The CFOA has addressed this issue with both Procaps and Kee Action Sports and will be able to track a team's event paint consumption. This information will then be reported back to the manufacturer so proper credit can be applied to the sponsor's account. If this is an area of concern for your team, please contact larry@thecfoa.com.
