PSP Events will be hosting the Paintball Sports Trade Association's (PSTA) Young Guns tournament at the upcoming 2009 Chicago Open. The event will be held Sunday, June 28th at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Center in Bolingbrook, IL.
The Young Guns tournament will be open to players between the ages of 12 and 18 with no previous PSP or other national level tournament experience. Teams will compete using the RaceTo-2 format and PSP rules with some modifications. The rate of fire will be semi-auto capped at 8bps. Paint will be limited to 150 rounds per player per game. All equipment besides goggles and clothing will be supplied for the teams. This includes guns from top industry companies and even paint!

Best of all, there is no entry fee! The Young Guns tournament is FREE. This is a great chance for new players to compete on a PSP field with PSP referees at a top level national event!

Only 24 teams will be allowed in so make sure to register your team early! All players must have a 2009 ID card in order to compete. While there is no entry fee for the Young Guns, a team must purchase at least 5 ID cards before they will be confirmed for the event.
